If I am a member of the national MGMA Chapter does this mean I am a member of the South Florida MGMA?

• No. Membership with the South Florida MGMA is separate from or in addition to your national membership. Although the South Florida MGMA is an affiliation of the national chapter we are independent organizations. Each organization has its own membership base, offers its own benefits, events, webinars and membership dues.

If I am a member of the Florida MGMA does this mean I am a member of the South Florida MGMA?

• No. As stated in our last answer each level of the MGMA operates independently. South Florida MGMA is separate or in addition to the state level membership. Although we are affiliated with the state chapter we maintain our own distinct membership base and offer our own benefits, webinars, and membership dues.

What is the membership year?

• The membership year for our members is a full year and renewal is due on the 31st of December each year.

If I am a vendor and I do not join the association as an Affiliate Member can I pay to attend events?

• No. All of our events are for members of the SFMGMA and people who work in the healthcare setting. If you are a vendor that qualifies for affiliate membership the only way to attend an event is by sponsoring the event.
